Women’s empowerment

The empowerment of women occurs in authenticity, when women achieve increased control and contribution in decision making that leads to their improved access to possessions, and consequently, enhanced socio-economic status. The experts say that there are some frame work for women’s empowerment they are namely- welfare, access, conscientisation, mobilization and control.

Welfare means an improvement in socio-economic status.

Access to resources and services, which improve their own status, relative to men, by their own work.

Conscientisation is a process, by which women as a group advise to act to remove one or more of the prejudiced practice.

Mobilization is the empowerment by forge links with the larger women's association, to learn from the success of women's.

Control is the level when women have taken action so that there is gender equality in decisions making over access to resources.
